Bristol Freeforms Games Day takes place at the BAWA where we hire conference rooms and have access to plentiful parking.

Getting to the Venue

Access to the conference rooms where we run Bristol Freeforms Games Day is via the rear entrance of the BAWA Leisure Centre. If you are turning into the centre from Southmead Road, follow the road straight ahead keeping the building on your right and the way in will be on your right just after the road turns 45º to your right.

By Road

Use the postcode BS34 7RG in your SatNav. There is plentiful parking.

By Rail

The nearest major railway station is Bristol Parkway and is about 10 minutes away by car. Friendly gamers are likely to offer lifts if requested. It is on bus route Y6.

By Bus

Nearby bus stops include:

• Y6 — just outside the BAWA. This is not a local route but does pass Bristol Parkway Railway station
• Route 2a — Pen Park Road
• Route 76 — Monks Park Ave.
• Routes 71/75/T2/3X — Gloucester Road

Food and Drink

A vending machine on-site provides tea and coffee.

During daytime events only, we are allowed to consume our own food on site. Players may bring a packed lunch or pop out between games to a café or supermarket.

During evening events, we have access to the on-site bar.

There are restaurants nearby, with the largest group being at Cribbs Causeway, if people want to have a meal after the event. Booking in advance is recommended as weekend evenings are often busy.

Accessibility

The rooms we use are on the ground floor, but have a few steps and a ramp up to them. The main room can be reached entirely through double doors.

Toilet facilities are provided on every floor.
