COVID Policy

We follow the UK Freeforms COVID Policy.

Covid Policy

The intention of this policy is to keep everyone safe. Covid will unfortunately continue to be a part of our lives for months if not years to come. We are going to ask you to do a few things that will hopefully help make sure that Covid doesn't affect UK Freeforms events. These requirements may be modified if there are changes in the government's ongoing strategy, and we reserve the right to alter these protocols as required. We will also need to abide by any requirements that venues place upon us as time moves on.

Please do not come to a UK Freeforms event if you have any symptoms of Covid. As a reminder https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/symptoms/

The Venue

All venues will have their own covid policies. Please abide by the venue's policy as well as ours which may be more restrictive.

Mask Protocols

We are not currently going to ask that you wear a mask, however we are going to ask that you are mindful of others and sensible in your interactions. Keep your distance unless invited to move closer. Some people may wear a mask throughout the event and that is absolutely fine. If you need to communicate with someone wearing a mask and you rely on lip reading, you can ask them to remove their mask, however they can also say no. You may want to consider wearing a mask in the busier parts of the venue as you are moving between spaces.

Vaccination

To attend you must be fully vaccinated according to your age/status. If asked you must be able to provide proof of vaccination status. If you have an exemption can you please get in contact with the organisers of your event prior to the event. The only exceptions that will be allowed are for medical reasons and proof may be required. Self-certification will not be accepted. Please remember if you don't have a medical exemption certificate this will take a while to get so you should plan for this. Events will not keep records of medical status after the events.

Lateral Flow tests

We will not require you to take a Lateral Flow Test however we strongly, strongly recommend that you do so before you travel to the event to keep everyone safe. Please do not attend the event if you have any symptoms of covid.

What happens if you cancel because you get a positive test or you feel ill on the day?

Each event and venue will have their own policy regarding cancellation, please refer to this. If you become ill during the event, please wear a mask and communicate from a distance or electronically with the event organiser while staying away from public areas if possible.
