Bristol Games Day 2022
The Mad King Olaf is dead and his son the Crown Prince Harold is to take the sword Bargash to reign in his place. However such things are not simple. Until the time is right it is said Bargash will kill anyone who dares take it. Harold has gathered his Council of Nobles for this auspicious day to make the formal proclamation. However the great houses fight among themselves and peck at the of House Steward. Will Harold lead his country to civil war? Or can he give the Cantons, Westerlings and Markhams what they want?

Players
This is a game for a total of 10 players including 6 male roles, 3 female roles, and 1 role which can be any gender.
Premise
This is a game of politics and intrigue that takes place in an original fantasy setting.
Costuming
The game takes place at a formal medieval occasion. You may wish to take inspiration from scenes set in castles from series such as Game of Thrones or The Witcher.
Player preparation
Players will receive a questionnaire before the game which the referees will use to assign characters. After characters have been assigned players will be given character sheets with backgrounds totalling no more than 4 sides of A4 altogether. There will also be a few blue sheets about the various houses and their standings.
Content Notes
The game contains mature adult themes that involve all characters that cover a wide range of topics including potential incest of characters.
Safety rules
We will use Traffic Light and the The OK Check-In systems to ensure all players have a fun experience. These systems will be explained at the game.

Nick Curd (he/him)
Nick has been writing freefrom games for a decade and playing them for longer. Principally his output coming from Peaky writing weekends (he'll explain). His games tend to have a central hook to drive interpersonal character dynamics and conflict in sci-fi/fantasy and horror settings.
